1st Impression: Is this just going to be like basic lemon soap-- oh, that's actually rather nice...

Rating: * * * *

Recommendation: Provides a refreshing cleanse in the bath or shower.

By this point, with the exception of noticing anything else within the Big Bath Bar soap blends that help to exfoliate the skin-- the Perfectly Posh Chunk line act basically the same in regards to cleaning the skin to leave it refreshed and smooth after a bath or shower. This bar follows the same formula in a nice cleansing experience.

So while I know this particular Posh Chunk states a sweet mint and lemon scent...the other fragrance doesn't quite smell like mint to me. Though it does smell sweet and blends nicely with the lemony citrus fragrance for this big bath bar. It's subtle, but at the same time still lingers prominently enough to enjoy. I believe with the Where Have You Bean All My Life Chunk I disliked it for next to no scent...and I kinda feel I need to address what the difference is between a light fragrance with almost no scent. That other Chunk bar was one I would have expected a far more stronger scent because it was mimicking a coffee blend-- if you've ever split coffee on yourself...it tends to linger on your clothes for awhile. There was really nothing to talk about for it...you could smell the fragrance lightly while it was in use, but nothing to awaken the senses. (Maybe I was expecting Folgers coffee commercial experience in my shower at first but it didn't even come close to noticing...) While this Easy Peasy Chunk bar is light, you can smell the fragrance during and after use and it's very refreshing while in use in the bath or shower.

These bars of soap are not exactly within a usual budget, you are spending a bit more for the pampering experience they offer. Seeing as they all do the job well to clean your skin and leave it refreshed and smooth-- the fragrance becomes the next factor as to "why" you would want to spend this much for a bar of soap. If I just wanted a bar of soap that smelled like lemon then I'd go to the Dollar Store or other local grocery store and pick up a lemon scented bar for next to nothing that easily fits within the budget. I feel the reason it took me so long to even try a sample of this Chunk bar is because I didn't want to find it was an overpriced bar of soap that I could easily pick up for just $1 or less at a local store.

This is a fairly neutral scent that does actually have something special to the blend if uncertain about what Posh Chunk fragrance might be good to try out first. It isn't quite as prominent or lingering as some other Posh Chunk Big Bath Bar blends, but it's a good first experience to get an idea of how it feels to refresh the skin during a cleanse routine in the bath or shower. Unless one already knows a particular scent they enjoy-- this is a good one to try out and expand from to other Chunk bars.
