This was perhaps my first flavor when exposed to the beeswax lip balm that Burt's Bees produces. For the longest time this was the only staple flavor you could find in stores on the shelves among the rest of the colorful and flavorful lip care products. They have a variety of flavors now, which is pretty evident as their 100% Natural product line has expanded and can be more visibly prominent in within a variety of retailers across the country. I remember "once-upon-a-time" that you were lucky to find even just this particular lip balm at the impulse buy shelf right beside the check-out lane of a store. Burt's Bees now carries a diverse line: makeup, lip care, skin care, hair & body care and even mother and baby care products.

Now I'm just mainly reviewing the general standard flavor for the beeswax lip balm, Burt's Bees has grown their lip balm product to include a large variety of additional flavors you can pick up directly through their site or at most other retailers that carry lip balms. Perhaps in the future I may one day pick up the Wild Cherry flavor to give it a go...but I know in the past I'd tried the Pomegranate and that was okay, just not my favorite flavor.

This blend of lip balm does apply nice and easy to the lips. Though I find that I'm constantly doing multiple applications throughout the day opposed to my more newly found lip balm favorite in the Posh line that I barely have to use more than once throughout the day. It will keep your lips nicely hydrated and it's skin friendly for those that have allergies to non-natural ingredients. This is still a good one to pick up in a pinch. While not for everyone, it's still a good skin friendly lip balm.
