Pamper Experiment: End Mend Fix Spritz

I picked up a full size version just recently and have been using it on a pretty regular basis. I wanted to give it a little bit of time before making any additional comments on this, but I think I've finally collected enough data to provide my final thoughts on this one.
While the End Mend Shampoo and End Mend Conditioner didn't exactly thrill me, I found the End Mend Fix Spritz more promising for long term use. As of this time it looks like the retired version of the End Mend Shampoo is no longer available unless you redeem Posh Rewards points to get the travel kit set. The shampoo and conditioner on their own was just...okay. At least to me when I tested out the sample. I didn't notice anything astounding. What made me consider the End Mend Fix Spritz more for a long-term trial was the ease of everyday use. In all honesty, I knew that to see any results more than a trial size sample was going to be required to really gauge my impression on this product.
FINAL ANALYSIS: After much observation on a daily use regardless of whether I'd just washed my hair or not that day-- I have to admit that my hair has felt more manageable and softer with daily use. I've also noticed less split ends in the time I've used this spritz. I don't like getting my hair cut or styled much at all, so one of the last places you'll see me is at a hair salon of any kind. It makes me happy to know this is working, and given the fact that the split ends have been present for perhaps years before trying this spritz...that's something to think about for the product quality. It doesn't have a strong fragrance either, so I don't have to worry about it messing up my daily routine of using a perfume or body spray. With this spritz being heat activated, normal hair drying seems to bring out the best-- I don't fuss with a hair straightener or other heat tools, but it appears to stand the test of working under heat. For one that doesn't like to go to a hair salon regularly, this is a good way to treat my hair at home.
It seems to stand the test of daily use.
This is not something for everyone, granted...not everyone has split ends to try and mend. However, even taking that out of the equation-- this hair spritz does leave one's locks refreshed and soft. It's still worth using even if you're not trying to mend split ends. Seeing as I have split ends already, it's difficult to state if it helps to prevent them, but it's possible given what I've observed from use currently. Without being able to test that aspect however...it's still just speculation.
The price tag is high for this one at $23 for the full size product, but I've probably seen worse when observing other hair care products at a salon. The problem I really have with those kinds of products is there's no good way to test them out to see if you might be interested without shelling out an arm and/or leg's worth of funds for a bottle. Even some of the trial size travel samples are pricey...and that's if there's one available in the first place. For some reason my odd luck always finds me interested in the one thing that isn't available in a trial size package. Go figure.
